The New Worker

I was briefed to create a new company brand identity, a supporting brand guide and a start-up website for the New Worker. I came up with the concept and corporate identity, which I rolled out into a comprehensive brand guideline manual and designed their introduction website. I also wrote the copy for the website, using researched SEO terms.



‘The Art of Security’ | German Security Exhibition

We wanted to position ourselves as the premium brand at a security exhibition. I came up with the concept based on an art gallery and designed a stand experience that would shine in a sea of cold and sterile security products and solutions. The event was a huge success, with many valuable leads generated and a lot of media attention.

As part of a Global Launch campaign, I had to solve the problem of creating realistic renders of a new product (yet to be installed in situ). I chose to work with Digital Artist – Marjan van Nus, whose work I had always admired. I worked on a tight brief with sketches, created a story for each scenario, and did the extensive casting and wardrobe selection. After sourcing props, we shot the people in a studio setting (with Remko Kraaijeveld behind the camera). Marjan then took my vision and joined the two with highly detailed 3D files to create five launch campaign images.
The Lifeline Boost

One of my product launches was an accessory to our existing best-selling range of access gates. I came up with the concept, mood boards, and Art Directed the 4-day film and photography shoot with a UK-based production house. I also selected the voice-over, wrote the script and hand-picked the music. The video is one piece of content in a pack of other launch materials, such as an online landing page, product page, brochures and sales support. A press release accompanied this as well. I coordinated the global launch in nine languages.
South African Wines
Industry: B2C RETAIL Food & Beverage
Service: Logo and Social Media

I designed this logo to reflect the diversity of the land in which I was born. The company imports top-quality wines from South Africa into the UK. The colours mirror the flag of the country. Along with the logo, I have also designed a full corporate identity and we are in the process of creating packaging. I plan, schedule and manage all the social media channels and ensure the content is engaging, inspiring and unique.
Café in the Gardens
Industry: HORECA / Food and beverage
Service: Logo Design

Not every project has to be a big-budget one. I also love helping smaller businesses get a head start. Belinda approached me to create a warm, cosy – yet contemporary logo for her quaint British tearoom. The cafe is situated in an estate of gorgeous fauna and flora – and she needed to create a mini-brand on a mini-budget. I get a lot of pleasure from seeing brands like this grow.

I was approached by tfrench to take a look at their old branding and breathe a fresh breath into it – bringing it up-to-date with current industry trends and being more relevant to their CrossFit target market. We did some work on the brand personality and aligned the overall strategy. We then placed a series of targeted, optimised adverts online.
